One of the greatest sources of renewal and new life in the Catholic Church over the past fifty years has been the revival of the Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
The Second Vatican Council called for a restoration of the ancient process of welcoming new members into the Church family through stages of initiation in preparation for reception of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and its teachings and traditions is welcome to be part of our RCIA program.
The RCIA process has several distinct stages.
Along with the weekly classes, there are several important rites that take place in church with the whole community. They mark important passages in the RCIA process.
If you woud like to know more about our Catholic faith and explore the possibility of becoming a member of our family in Jesus Christ, please contact Father Vic, our pastor, or our Director of RCIA, Brian Ernst.
