The celebration of the sacraments of the Church are an integral part of parish life. In these most sacred moments in the life of a Christian from Baptism on, we share in the great gift of new life in Christ in ever new and joyful ways.
In each of the seven sacraments, the community of faith joins together to prayerfully welcome the Grace of God into the lives of those who are receiving the sacrament, supporting them as they make their lives one with the eternal Life of Christ himself.
We welcome all to join us in these moments of Christ among us!
For young people and adults of other religious backgrounds or none at all who seek to know more about Catholicism and our ancient Christian traditions and teachings we offer an extended process of instruction and formation leading to Baptism or reception into the Church at the Easter Vigil. See our page dedicated to the RCIA by following this link: RCIA
For parents of infants and young children who wish to have their child baptized in the Church, we offer a brief program of classes to prepare themselves for this important event in the life of their family. Both parents and god-parents are encouraged to attend.
By the way, in choosing god-parents, be aware that preferably both, but at least one god-parent must be a Catholic who is practicing his/her faith.
For more information and to schedule both classes and the baptism itself, please contact our parish deacon, Brian Ernst, (509) 324-5611 or email: Deacon Brian.

For Christians, marriage is so much more than a simple contract between two consenting adults. It is for us one of the primary ways we as human beings experience God by celebrating the self-giving love of husband and wife across a lifetime. Fidelity, indisolubility, and being open to children as the fruit of that love are the hallmarks of Christian marriage and are what make it for us as Catholics one of our seven great sacraments.
Preparation for this vital sacrament in our lives is essential. We wish to help our engaged couples to be prepared to live out the commitments they will be making on their wedding day through a program of marital preparation. This involves several visits with Father Kevin, our pastor, as well as participation in a weekend retreat for engaged couples.
Please contact the parish office at least six months prior to the anticipated date of the wedding to inquire about scheduling, marriage preparation and other arrangements. You may also contact Father Kevin directly through email: Father Kevin
